Aura AI Privacy Policy

Welcome to Aura AI ("we", "our", or "the Application"). We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and share your information when you use our mobile application, available on the Google Play Store.

By downloading and using Aura AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Information We Collect

A. Biometric and Image Data (User Input)

To deliver our core service ("Biometric Stylist"), we request:

• Facial and Body Photographs: Images uploaded by you or taken with the camera to analyze facial geometry, color season, and morphology.
• Derived Data ("Aesthetic DNA"): Mathematical information resulting from the analysis, such as your color season (e.g., Winter), face shape, and proportions.

B. Device and Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the app:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID, phone model, operating system).
• IP address and general location data (country/city level) to display relevant ads and local products.
• Crash logs and performance data.

2. Where and How Your Data is Stored (Privacy Architecture)

Aura AI is designed under the Local-First principle:

• Local Storage: Your "Aesthetic DNA" (colorimetry results, facial analysis, outfit history) is saved locally on your device using an encrypted database (Hive). We do not store these profiles on our own servers permanently.
• Persistence: If you uninstall the application or clear its data, your biometric profile will be permanently deleted, as it resides entirely on your device.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini)

To provide advanced image analysis, we use third-party technology Google Gemini (via Google Cloud Vertex AI / AI Studio). The process works as follows:

1. When you upload a photo for analysis (Onboarding or Daily Mirror), the image is securely transmitted (encrypted via SSL) to Google's servers for processing.
2. The AI analyzes the image to extract aesthetic features (colors, shapes).
3. Google returns the textual/numerical result back to the application.
4. The image is not used by us to train models. Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and its API terms, which generally stipulate that data is not used to train their foundation models when using the enterprise API, though it may be temporarily retained for abuse monitoring.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We use your data to:

• Core Functionality: Provide style analysis, color season analysis, and outfit feedback.
• Product Personalization (Affiliation): Recommend specific cosmetics and fashion products that match your biometric profile.
• Advertising: Display third-party ads within the application to support the free version.
• Technical Improvement: Detect and resolve errors in the application.

5. Advertising and Affiliate Links

A. Advertising (AdMob / Ad Networks)

We use third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob) to serve ads. These networks may use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show personalized ads based on your interests. You can manage these permissions in your Android device settings.

B. Affiliate Disclosure

Aura AI participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that:

• When the AI recommends a product (e.g., "Your ideal lipstick is X") and you click the link to purchase it, you will be redirected to an external store (such as Amazon, Sephora, etc.).
• We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you.
• The product recommendation is based on your biometric analysis processed by the AI, but the final transaction occurs outside our application.

6. Device Permissions

The application will request the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to scan your face/body or your outfit in real time.
• Gallery / Storage: Required if you decide to upload an existing photo for analysis.
• Internet: Required to communicate with the AI API (Gemini), load affiliate products, and serve ads.

7. Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your data:

• Right to be Forgotten: Since data is stored on your device, you can delete it simply by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
• Withdrawal of Consent: You can revoke camera or ad tracking permissions in your phone settings at any time.

8. Minors

Aura AI is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country). We do not knowingly collect biometric data from minors. If we detect that a user is a minor, we will delete the information and block access.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures. Communications with the AI API and advertising servers are encrypted using SSL/TLS. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the application. Continued use of the application after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
